"Our experience with Cathy was nothing short of phenomenal, she gave us the best possible advice and delivered beyond our expectation. The Grand Mauritian was a fantastic hotel, our stay was memorable and this was our first time to Mauritius. The staff were exceptional though we had one poor encounter. The in-house restaurant Braza, which we complained about. Our first meal there was for lunch and the service was very poor. We waited ten minutes for our order to be taken, drinks took forever, the only bonus was the food was good. We received an apology from the general manager with some pastries left in our room at night. Manager of the restaurant gave us two complimentary cocktails the next time we visited which was not part of the AIC as an apology. Though we noted a patron storm off at the same time, seemed as though he was waiting too long for his bill. Putting that episode to rest, stay at this hotel was fantastic and we look forward to returning, if not to this hotel, then something that comes close to it."

This mail is to let you know about the wonderful treatment I received from Carol in terms of the booking of my recent holiday as well as the way in which she got me home early for an emergency hospital procedure. I booked a trip to Mauritius in December, for January, through Carol. Right from the start I was impressed with the way she dealt with me as a client, as well as her efficiency in managing all arrangements concerned with the booking.

On the second day of my holiday, I had to be rushed to hospital in Mauritius with kidney stones. Without going into all the details, the long and short of it was that I had to return home a few days later for an emergency procedure.

I contacted Carol on the day I needed to fly and she organised everything for me with great care and speed. I have only praise for the way she managed this.I felt it was important that you know about this, as it is seldom it is that feedback is given – unless it is negative.

We had an unfortunate incident where our plane to Dubai hit a bird and the flight was aborted - after more than 24 hours of waiting in hope, the airline had made no effort whatsoever to get us onto alternate flights ... they were full of empty promises. In desperation I contacted Cathy at World Wide Travel who was absolutely unbelievable ...
she managed to get our whole group (8 of us!) onto an alternate airline within a few hours, at no extra cost to us, to our destination, and this was out of office hours! She was truly wonderful on this occasion, and has been at all times when we have dealt with her."

I e-mailed various agents to get prices for a Mauritius holiday. I obviously was shopping around for best value & price around & Elma from World Wide Travel was quick off the mark. Her response time was great & called me within a day to find out my full criteria (price, dates, room types, etc). I did inform Elma that I had already received a reasonable quotation which I was about to confirm & pay for. Elma asked for me to give her a day & she would see if she could better the quote. The very next day I received a better quote from Elma for the same resort but also another quote for the ClubMed d’Albion for around the same price. I was obviously thrilled but couldn’t decide on the two offers. Elma did advised to rather go for the ClubMed option, which I did & thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
